If you’re looking for a hero, there’s no need to fear, Captain Marvel is here!

Brie Larson stars as titular hero Captain Marvel one of the most powerful marvel heroes introduced in the cinematic universe.   Captain Marvel gets her start as Carol Danvers, an American air force pilot who gets trapped in a space war between two alien civilizations.   These two civilizations are hellbent on destroying one another and anything or anyone else in the universe who gets in their way.  The movie is set in the 1990s so we will get to see the hero landscape of near past but not quite as far back as Captain America: The First Avenger.

With the success of DC’s Wonder Woman, there’s been much talk on what the next woman led superhero movie would be.

Marvel wasted no time capitalizing on the success of Wonder Woman.  Fans of both universes can agree that this is a step in the right direction.  This is important because it proves what many have tried to tell the big studios for years.  A woman superhero can carry a movie and make money as well.
