Riot Games (not wanting Blizzard Entertainment to steal all the spotlight this week because of Blizzcon) has released a new champion – Zoe: The Aspect of Twilight – and she’s the darn cutest thing in the game since Lulu!

She’s adorable and hypermobile – based on the trailer, it seems she’s able able to use flash multiple times in quick succession thereby ignoring the spell’s default five minute cooldown requirement. Her overall design seems to draw inspiration from the cute quirky characters from adventure platformer games such as Rachet & Clank and Crash Bandicoot and she looks like she’ll be very fun to play. I think Riot created her to prove that they can do worse than Teemo – her abilities make her seem like she’s on permanent URF mode and I won’t be surprised if she ends up in the URF meta when the game mode comes back around.

Needless to say, she’s a refreshing addition to the League of Legends roster – she actually has a personality that isn’t defined by her ‘sexiness’ and she isn’t another edgelord-esque character. Good job Rito, kudos to your design team!
