The NickSplat channel on VRV is premiering nearly 30 series of iconic 90s Nick shows and we can’t contain our excitement.
What are VRV and NickSPlat you ask? VRV is a leading fandom-focused aggregation platform featuring premium SVOD channels. Like Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Rooster Teeth, VRV supplies us with the shows that allow us to be the nerds and geeks we love being. NickSplat dedicates itself to showing our most loved Nickelodeon content from the 1990’s and beyond. With VRV partnering with Nickelodeon and becoming the premiere launch partner for NickSplat, we can now view the Nick shows of 90s past.
Beloved shows like “AAAHH!!! Real Monsters,” “All That,” “Are You Afraid of the Dark?,” “CatDog,” “Doug,” “Kenan & Kel,” “Legends of the Hidden Temple,” “The Wild Thornberrys,” are just a sample of titles available through NickSplat. “We’re building a basecamp for unique fandom experiences within the VRV universe. By rallying and connecting fan communities, we make it easy to be fan,” said Arlen Marmel, general manager of VRV, Ellation. “NickSplat is an incredible brand with content that’s been delighting fans for more than 30 years and we are thrilled to be partnering with the Nickelodeon team to broaden the VRV universe.” NickSplat will be available to purchase a la carte for $5.99/mo, and included in the VRV premium bundle for $9.99/mo.
Ellation, Inc., is the powerhouse of the project, being a transformative entertainment company and home of industry-leading brands Crunchyroll and VRV. Ellation’s offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Chișinău develop the product, design, engineering, marketing and content that brings communities of passionate fans together. “Using the VRV platform, our goal is to empower both traditional media and popular digital brands to launch or extend their OTT channel presence,” said Eric Berman, head of content partnerships, VRV, Ellation. “Our partnership with Viacom is a first of its kind. We’re very proud to be the premiere launch partner to bring a NickSplat channel into SVOD and share these nostalgic series so our passionate audience can fall in love with them all over again.”
